APPLICATION PROCEDURES
Surface Preparation
Surface must be dry, clean and free from mold, moss, dust, grease, rust, and other contaminants.
Primer Coat
Apply primer coat in accordance with the kind of substrate :
- For concrete or cement plaster : PROPAN Decor Alkali Resisting Primer AS-310 (Solvent Based) or AR-300 (Water Based), 1 coat (1 x 20 microns), without thinning
- For metal : Alkyd Primer PROPAN Metalkote AP-291, 1 coat (1 x 40 microns).
- For wood : PROPAN Multipurpose Aqua Putty AWP-919 WB. Sanding lightly with sandpaper no. 180.
Colored Base Coat
- For yellowish gold color : PROPAN Waterbased Solid Color Acrylux AAC-955 Chrome Yellow TT 1224, 2 coats (2 x 30 microns), thinning with 10-20 % clean water according to application needs.
- For reddish gold color : PROPAN Waterbased Solid Color Acrylux AAC-955 Red TT 3329, 2 coats (2 x 30 microns), thinning with 10-20% clean water according to apllication needs.
Gold Colored Coat
Apply Propan Super Gold SG-07 WB, 1 coat (1 x 30 microns), thinning with 10% clean water.
Clear Coat (optional)
Apply Propan Acrylux Clear AAL-965 Clear Gloss/Dof, 1 coat (1 x 30 microns), thinning with 10% clean water.
